After breakfast in your hotel in Arusha, you will start your journey to Lake Manyara National Park, Lake Manyara National Park is a beautiful and compact park located at the base of the Great Rift Valley. It is famous for its tree-climbing lions, large groups of elephants, and the colourful flamingos that gather along the lake shore. The park has a mix of forests, open plains, hot springs, and the shallow alkaline lake, making it a great place for wildlife viewing. During a game drive, you can see animals like giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, monkeys, hippos, and many bird species.
After breakfast, drive to Serengeti National Park through the Ngorongoro highlands. You will reach Central Serengeti (Seronera) in the afternoon and enjoy your first game drive. Tanzania’s Serengeti National Park is a globally recognized wildlife sanctuary, known for its expansive savannahs, varied ecosystems, and profusion of wildlife. Millions of zebras and wildebeests travel across the plains during the Great Migration, which is a magnificent sight. Experience the breath-taking beauty of the Serengeti National Park on a once-in-a-lifetime hot air balloon flight. At dawn, rise as the sun greets the day and float in whichever direction the winds of the morning take you, followed by an English breakfast in the bush with a champaign You’ll set off for a full-day game drive in Central Serengeti, exploring the region’s incredible wildlife. Early in the morning, you’ll watch as predators like lions, leopards, and cheetahs become active, while also spotting elephants, giraffes, and vast herds of wildebeest and zebras. You’ll enjoy a picnic lunch at a scenic spot before continuing your drive through areas like the Seronera Valley, known for its big cats and diverse birdlife. As the sun sets.
Following breakfast, you will embark on a full-day game drive in the Central Serengeti to discover the amazing animals of the area. Along with seeing elephants, giraffes, and enormous herds of zebras and wildebeest, you will witness the emergence of predators such as lions, leopards, and cheetahs in the early morning hours. Before continuing your journey through regions like the Seronera Valley, which is renowned for its big cats and varied birds, you will have a picnic lunch at a picturesque location. You will return to your lodge or camp as the sun sets to check in, unwind, and eat supper while thinking back on the day’s remarkable wildlife encounters.
After breakfast, we will drive to Ngorongoro for the crater tour with picnic descent to the crater floor for the day tour. Some 20,000 mammals live in the area including about 20 black rhinoceros, making the crater the best place in Tanzania to see these amazing creatures. The crater floor also has one of the highest carnivore densities in the world. Lions, cheetahs, hyenas and jackals are commonly seen, while leopards, servals and bat-eared foxes may be seen, later in the afternoon we drive back to Arusha.
