Born and raised in the heart of Tanzania, Ian Thadeo developed an innate and profound connection to the natural world that eventually became his life’s calling. After honing his expertise for eight years as a professional safari guide, where he mastered the intricacies of the African wilderness, Ian transitioned from leading tours to founding Wild and Nature Safaris. His decision to establish the company was fueled by a vision to showcase the unparalleled beauty of his homeland to a global audience with authenticity and passion. Today, as the Director and team leader of the dedicated professionals behind the brand, Ian leverages his extensive field experience to curate transformative journeys, ensuring that every traveler experiences the true, wild spirit of Tanzania through the eyes of those who call it home.

Our safari vehicles, Toyota Land Cruisers 4X4, are made to handle tough African terrain and bumpy roads while giving maximum comfort to our guests. Each vehicle can carry up to 7 people, and there is an extra seat next to the guide. Everyone gets a window seat for better wildlife viewing.
Every safari vehicle is equipped with a first aid kit. Our guides are trained to use this in case of emergencies.
We have a coffee box with snacks, coffee and tea that can be enjoyed at anytime on a game drive.
All our vehicles have a small fridge to keep beverages cold. This is not to be taken for granted especially after a long day out in the savannah.
We made all the windows in the vehicle as large as possible so guests can have a better viewing experience.
The roof can be removed so that you can stand-up and have a better vantage for viewing wildlife.
All our vehicles are equipped with fire extinguishers, and all our guides are trained on how to use them.
We carry two spare tires and a heavy- duty jack. Having two spares is better than having one due to poor roads in some areas, and presence of acacia thorns.
All the seats within the vehicle have seat belts, at wild and nature safaris safety is our priority.
All our vehicles have 110v and 220v power adapters to make it possible to charge camera batteries.
